Mike Foustoukos, head coach of Lawrence Academy Basketball, joins Cory Heitz to discuss reclassing, what D1 guards need, player development, college placement, and how possible NCAA eligibility changes could affect recruits.
Across the conversation, Mike explains why Lawrence Academy aims to prepare students for more than the next game. He covers the school’s community and RISE mission, multi-sport participation, honest playing-time expectations, strength and skill development, film study, and finding a college where each student-athlete can thrive.

For families considering reclassification or a post-grad path, this episode highlights the physical, mental, academic, and long-term factors that should shape the decision.
